Client Funds is a List window that displays client funds transactions and allows you to easily see information about them. You can filter the List to see only the information you want, such as only client funds payments on certain dates or only client funds deposits by credit card. You can double-click a client funds transaction to see additional information, or you can perform actions on one or more client funds transactions using the Quick Clicks pane on the right.
Note: Opening the Client Funds list will put focus in the current Client Funds list window, or open a new Client Funds list window if one is not currently open. Holding the Ctrl key while clicking the Client Funds list action on the Home page or Quick Launch pane will always open the Client Funds list in a new window.
This window consists of the following main areas:
Each row in the list area represents a client funds transaction. Double-click on a row in the list to open the associated client funds transaction in the Client Funds Entry window. Click on the Client ID hyperlink in the Client ID column to open the associated matter in the Tabs3 Billing Matter Manager.
The various columns shown are determined by the column layout; by default, the Standard Column Layout is used, which displays the most common information needed for client funds. The following columns are included in the Standard Column Layout:

Description
Note: The Client Name column is a virtual field and cannot be used for sorting.
Additionally, a Default Column Layout is included, which displays all client funds information. Specific columns can be included in other column layouts.
QuickView tabs can optionally be displayed in the list.
The sort order of the records shown in the list can be changed by clicking a column heading. An ascending
sort indicator will be shown in the column heading indicating the sort order. Click the same column heading again to reverse the sort order and change the sort indicator to a descending
