The Quick Clicks pane provides convenient access to many features in List windows, as well as the Statement Manager. Each user can customize Quick Clicks for each list. Customization of Quick Clicks is performed using the Manage Quick Clicks window. The Quick Clicks pane is organized into the following groups:

The Client List, Contact List, Fee List, Cost List, Payment List, and Funds List groups contain options to show a specific group of records for the file; for example, the Client List has an option to only show clients that have not been marked Inactive, whereas the Fee List has an option to only show Work-in-Process transactions. Each group is only available in its respective list (e.g., Client List is only available in the Clients list window, etc.).

or

The Take Action group contains various action-oriented options available for the current list.

or

The Report group contains various reports available for the current list.
The QuickView group contains all defined QuickViews for the current list.
The Filter group contains filtering information.
The Sort By group contains sorting (indexing) information for the current list.
The Column Layout group contains information for column layouts.
The Customize Current View group contains options for configuring the current list.
The Comments group displays comments for the current pre-bill or final statement.

Customizing the Quick Clicks Pane

The Quick Clicks pane can be customized by each user.

By default, the Quick Clicks pane is docked on the right side of the list window. However, it can also be docked on the left side of the list window. This is accomplished by clicking on the Quick Clicks pane title bar and dragging it to the desired position.

Clicking anywhere on a group's title bar in the Quick Clicks pane will toggle between expanding and collapsing the contents of that group. A icon on the right side of the title bar indicates that clicking the title bar will expand or show the contents of that group, whereas a icon on the title bar will collapse or hide the contents of that group. Folders can be created in each group of the Quick Clicks pane via Manage Quick Clicks, and can be expanded and collapsed in the Quick Clicks pane. A icon indicates that clicking the icon will expand or show the contents of that folder, whereas a icon will collapse or hide the contents of that folder. If a collapsed folder contains an item that has been selected, such as a filter or column layout, the folder name will be displayed in bold. This makes it easier to identify which items are active when the folder is collapsed.

You can hide and unhide items and folders; add, rename, and delete folders; change the order of the items, folders, and groups; and perform other tasks by clicking the Manage Quick Clicks icon in the Customize Current View group.

Auto Hide

The Quick Clicks pane also features an Auto Hide mode, which hides the pane from view until it is needed. Auto Hide mode features the following buttons:

Quick Clicks The Quick Clicks button indicates the current position of the hidden Quick Clicks pane. Moving your mouse over this button will cause the Quick Clicks pane to slide into view, allowing you to use it as needed. Moving your mouse off the button or off the Quick Clicks pane will cause the pane to hide itself again. Likewise, clicking the Quick Clicks button will cause the Quick Clicks pane to slide into view. To hide the pane again, click anywhere outside the Quick Clicks pane.
Auto Hide Disabled The Auto Hide Disabled button (i.e., the vertical pushpin) is located in the upper-right corner of the Quick Clicks pane, and indicates that Auto Hide mode is disabled. In this mode, the Quick Clicks pane is "pinned" or docked to the Editor window. Clicking this button will enable Auto Hide mode and cause the Quick Clicks button to appear in place of the Quick Clicks pane.
Auto Hide Enabled The Auto Hide Enabled button (i.e., the horizontal pushpin) is located in the upper-right corner of the Quick Clicks pane, and indicates that Auto Hide mode is enabled. In this mode, the Quick Clicks pane is "unpinned" or hidden from the Editor window. Clicking this button will disable Auto Hide mode and cause the Quick Clicks pane to return to its fully viewable docked position.

Note: Each file maintains separate Quick Clicks settings, which are stored per User ID. This allows each user to customize their Quick Clicks to meet their needs. Resetting a user profile in System Configuration will restore the default settings of the Quick Clicks pane.
