|||||||||||||||
The Manage Quick Clicks window is used to customize a user's Quick Clicks pane. This window allows you to add, copy, edit, and delete items in your Quick Clicks groups; provides control over which groups, folders, and items are available in the Quick Clicks pane; and determines what order they will be in.
The Manage Quick Clicks window can be accessed by clicking on Manage Quick Clicks in the Customize Current View group of the Quick Clicks pane. The Manage Quick Clicks window can also be accessed by selecting Manage QuickViews, Manage Filters, or Manage Column Layouts from the QuickViews, Filters, or Column Layouts groups of the Quick Clicks pane or the Edit menu.
Customizing the Quick Clicks Pane
The Manage Quick Clicks window provides customization for each of the Quick Clicks groups, all in one window. From the Manage Quick Clicks window, you can add folders to help organize your Quick Clicks groups. QuickViews, Filters, and Column Layouts can be added, copied, edited, deleted and renamed. In addition, you can specify whether QuickViews, filters, and column layouts are shown for all users, or only for the user who created it.
Each group, folder, and item that can be displayed in the Quick Clicks pane will be available in the Manage Quick Clicks window in a file tree structure, allowing you to expand or collapse each of the sections and provide easy navigation of the window. If you do not want to see a Quick Clicks item that you do not use, you can hide it. If you want to start using an item that was previously hidden, you can unhide it.
The contents of each group in the Manage Quick Clicks window changes depending on the file that is open when accessed. If Manage Quick Clicks is accessed from the Statement Manager, items can only be viewed, added, deleted, etc. for the items specific to the Statement Manager. For example, when accessing Manage Quick Clicks from the Statement Manager, statement filters will be displayed in the Filter group, but fee filters will not.
The vertical positioning of each group can be reordered by dragging and dropping a group's title bar. For example, if you want the QuickView group to be shown at the top of the Quick Clicks pane, you can drag the QuickView group's title bar to the top of the Quick Clicks pane, and drop it where the Take Action group currently resides. Furthermore, the contents of each group can be reordered by dragging and dropping in a similar fashion. For example, if you want the Add Payment option to appear as the first option in the Take Action group for the Statement Manager, you can drag the Add Payment option and drop it at the first position within the Take Action group.
Note: The Manage Quick Clicks window allows you to customize the Quick Clicks options separately for each window.
Note: You cannot move the contents of one group to a different group. For example, you cannot move the Add Payment option from the Take Action group to the Filter group.
Toolbar Buttons
The toolbar buttons and right-click menus can be used to access the various tasks in the Manage Quick Clicks window.
|
|
New |
The New button (or Ctrl+N) creates a new item within the selected group. This button is available within the QuickView, Filter, and Column Layout groups. |
|
|
Edit |
The Edit button (or the Enter key) opens the selected item to be modified. This button is available within the QuickView, Filter, and Column Layout groups when an individual item is selected. Groups and system default items, such as Manage Quick Clicks, cannot be edited. Note: Renaming a Quick Clicks item, or modifying a Quick Clicks item by selecting or clearing the Show for all users check box, will place the Quick Clicks item at the bottom of the list, thus removing the item from a folder if applicable. |
|
|
Copy |
The Copy button (or Ctrl+C) opens a copy of the selected item, with the name defaulting to "Copy of <original name>". The item can be saved as an exact copy, or can be modified before saving. When deleting a folder, it must be empty; folders that contain items or other folders cannot be deleted. |

Add Folder |
The Add Folder button adds a new folder below the item currently selected. Each folder can have up to four subfolders specified. All folders within each level must have a unique name, and cannot be left blank. Note: New folders are hidden by default, and will not be shown until at least one item is placed in the folder. |

|
Hide/Unhide |
The Hide/Unhide button toggles the state of an item between hidden and shown. When an item is selected to be hidden, it will be dimmed in the Manage Quick Clicks window, and it will not be displayed in the Quick Clicks pane. Likewise, when an item is selected to be unhidden, it will be undimmed in the Manage Quick Clicks window, and will be shown in the Quick Clicks pane. Hiding and unhiding items allows you to see only those items you want to see, while retaining the ability to show them at a later time. In addition to individual items, groups and folders can be hidden or unhidden. When selecting to hide or unhide a group or folder, each item within the group or folder will also be hidden or unhidden. Note: Although you can hide theManage QuickViews, Manage Filters, Manage Column Layouts, and Manage Quick Clicks items, at least one of these management items must remain unhidden in order to access the Manage Quick Clicks window. Note: An individual and shared filter, QuickView, or column layout with the same name can exist in the same group.
Note: Closing the Manage Quick Clicks window automatically refreshes the List tab, thus reapplying the selected filter, QuickView, and column layouts, regardless of whether any changes were made.
