The GLS Integration Setup program allows you to configure how integration with Tabs3 General Ledger (GL) will occur. Configuration of GL Integration is divided into three sections:

Payment Entries The Payment Entries section can be used to configure how payment transactions will integrate with GL based on the payment's allocation and posting method. The Configure Payment Integration button will open the Configure Payment Integration window.
Client Funds Transactions The Client Funds Transactions section can be used to configure how optional client funds deposit transactions will integrate with GL. The Configure Funds Integration button will open the Configure Client Funds Integration window.
Cost Entries The Cost Entries section can be used to configure which expense and advance tcodes will integrate with GL. The Cost Entry Accounts button will open a GLS Accounts Table for Expense & Advance Cost Entries window.
Write Offs The Write Offs section can be used to configure how write offs and write-downs of advanced client costs will integrate with GL. The Write Off Accounts button will open a GLS Accounts Table for Advanced Client Costs Write Offs and Write-Downs window.
Accrual Integration The Accrual Integration section can be used to configure how optional accrual postings will integrate with GL based on the type of transaction. The Accrual Accounts button will open a GLS Accounts Table for Accrual Posting window.

The Print GLS Integration Setup Report button displays a Print dialog box allowing you to print, preview, or save the GLS Integration Setup Report.

Note: The GLS Integration Setup tab is a single access function. However, if you select the GLS Integration Setup tab when another user is accessing the tab, you will be given the opportunity to browse the GLS Integration options. When browsing these options, you will be able to view the options that have been defined, but you will not be able to change any options. Changes can only be made when no other users are accessing the GLS Integration Setup tab.

Note: The GLS Integration Setup tab is only displayed if the Integrate with Tabs3 General Ledger option is selected on the Other Systems tab of Tabs3 Customization. If this option is cleared, the GLS Integration Setup tab will not be present.

Note: When configured to integrate information by timekeeper, tcode, category, or location, a message will be displayed each time a new item is added to one of these files indicating that GLS integration settings may need to be updated.

Note: Timekeepers, categories and tcodes will be renumbered in the GLS Accounts Tables when the renumber programs are used for renumbering timekeepers, categories, and tcodes.

Note: Whenever a timekeeper, tcode, category, or location is deleted, any associated GLS account mapping will automatically be deleted.

Note: Changing the GLS accounts associated with an integration method will not update existing journal entries made to the previously assigned account. Additionally, reversing entries for existing journal entries will be made to the account to which they were originally assigned, not the newly assigned account.
