Timekeeper Category Tcode Misc Desc Bill Freq
Timekeeper Timekeeper is a generic label for personnel whose time is billed to clients. Each timekeeper is assigned a number and initials for data entry purposes. The "timekeeper" label can be changed in Customization. However, the label "timekeeper" is used in all documentation.
Category Categories are used to classify fee services into related groups for purposes of generating productivity reports by category of work (i.e., corporate, non-profit, real estate, tax, audit, etc.).
Tcode A transaction code is a number used to represent or describe a type of service, activity, cost or payment. Transaction codes are also referred to as tcodes or transcodes.
Misc Desc This tab is used to define labels for the timekeeper levels, cost types and task code sets.
Bill Freq A billing frequency is a user-defined classification used to indicate how often a client is billed (monthly, quarterly, etc.). The billing frequency can also be used for selecting clients when running batch statements and reports.
Location Locations are used by firms that have multiple offices but billing is performed from a central office. As clients are entered, they are assigned to a location. Reports and statements can then be generated for specific locations or all locations.
Task Code Task codes are used when entering fee and cost transactions for task based billing clients.
GLS Integration Setup If the Integrate with Tabs3 General Ledger option is selected in Customization, this tab will be available. From here, Tabs3 transactions can be configured to integrate with GLS accounts.
