| Tcode (Transaction Code) |
Maximum of 3 digits (1-999) or 3 characters. Only Type 0 (normal), Type 4 (description only), Type 5 (miscellaneous) and Type 6 (progress fee) transaction codes will be accepted. The Tcode field will be replaced by the Phase/Task and Activity fields if the selected client is set up for task based billing.
This field defaults to the Tcode used for the last new fee transaction you added.
The transaction code's alpha code and type will be displayed after the transaction code is entered and the associated description will be displayed in the Description field.
The
button can be used to open the Tcode
Lookup window that allows you to view a list of transaction codes and select a transaction code by
double-clicking it.
Right-clicking this field displays a shortcut menu that allows easy access to the Transaction Code program for adding or editing purposes.
Note: Expense and advance transaction codes can be specified when entering fees. However, these transactions are still billed as fees rather than costs. Keep in mind that entering a cost transaction code can override the client’s default Rate Code for that transaction.
