Maximum of 4 characters. The Activity field will only be displayed if the selected client is set up for task based billing. Enter the Activity code for the activity performed. Only existing Activity codes will be accepted. The associated description will be displayed in the Description field after the Activity code is entered.

The button can be used to open the Task Code Lookup window that allows you to view a list of Activity codes and select an Activity code by double-clicking it.

Right-clicking this field displays a shortcut menu that allows easy access to the Task Code program for adding or editing purposes.
