Type 6 Tcode - Progress Fee

This type of transaction code is used in conjunction with the progress billing feature. It allows you to bill a progress billing amount regardless of the current fees (if any) that have been entered for a client. All fee transactions except those with a transaction code Type of 6 will be kept as work-in-process until the client's Progress Billing check box is cleared. If the work-in-process does not equal the desired amount to be billed, the Write-Up/Write-Down Fees and Costs program can be used to adjust the work-in-process. When a statement is produced, the work-in-process will be billed and a credit for the total progress billing(s) will automatically be generated on the statement.
