Email Statement:

Yes/No/Both

Select whether you want clients who receive email statements, clients who do not receive email statements, or both to be included. A client receives email statements if the Email column displays Yes for either Bill To record in the Statement Delivery Options table on the Billing Preferences tab in the Client file.

Note: The Status option for Mail Statement and Email Statement are used to help determine which clients are included in a statement or report run. It is important to keep in mind that this selector is based on the Client and not the Bill To Name. Each client can have up to two Bill To Names; therefore, if one Bill To Name is set for Mail Statement only, and one Bill To Name is set for Email Statement only, the client will be displayed regardless of which Status option for Mail Statement and/or Email Statement is selected.

Note: A client's status options are not mutually exclusive. For example, a client can be designated as both inactive and non-billable. If you want to select clients based on a single status, you must only select one of the status options and leave the remaining options at Both. For example, to include all inactive clients regardless of whether they are also designated as progress billing, non-billable or task based billing, you would select the Inactive option and leave the remaining options at Both. As another example, to include all clients who are inactive and non-billable, you would select the Inactive and Non-Billable options and leave the remaining options at Both. However, you will not be able to select clients who are inactive or non-billable.
