The Replicate Transaction window can be accessed from the Fees or Costs list windows by selecting a fee or cost and then clicking Replicate Transaction in the Take Action group of the Quick Clicks pane, or from the Fee or Cost entry windows by selecting a fee or cost and then clicking the Replicate button on the toolbar.

The following options are displayed in the Replicate Transaction window:

New Client ID Specify the Client ID that the transaction will be copied to.
Update Rate and then calculate Amount

Select this option to determine the default billing rate based on the original transaction type, tcode, and the specified client, and then calculate the amount.

Clear this option to preserve the rate and amount specified on the original fee or cost.

The OK button will replicate the transaction using the selected options.

The Cancel button will close the Replicate Transaction window without making any changes.

Note: A Type 4 description only transaction entered when performing a write off or payment adjustment cannot be replicated. A message will be shown when attempting to replicate the transaction.

Note: Replicating a transaction that has been included on a pre-bill will not automatically add the new transaction to the pre-bill. The new transaction will be created as work in process.

GL Integration Note: When integrating with Tabs3 General Ledger (GL), new journal entries may be created when replicating a cost transaction.

Advance Note: Replicating advance cost transactions can cause the Advanced Client Costs Report in GL to display a discrepancy. If the firm relies on the Advanced Client Costs Report, advance cost transactions should be entered in Tabs3 Accounts Payable (AP).
