The Column Layout Editor window is used to create or modify column layouts. The Column Layout Editor window is displayed when adding or editing a column layout via the Manage Column Layouts option in the Column Layout section of the Quick Clicks pane or the Edit menu. This window includes the following fields:

Column Layout Name The column layout name can consist of up to 50 characters. The pipe (|) symbol is not permitted. Spaces are allowed. This field cannot be left blank.
Available Fields This list includes all of the fields that have not yet been included in the column layout. To move a field from this list to the Field Order list, highlight the field and then click Add. Double-clicking a field in this list will also move the field to the Field Order list. Hovering over a field will provide a tooltip showing the Field ID.
Field Order

This list includes all of the fields that are included in the column layout. The order of this list corresponds to the order of columns shown in the List tab. To remove a field from this list, highlight the field and then click Remove. Double-clicking a field in this list will also remove the field from the Field Order and return it to the Available Fields list.

Note: If you select multiple fields, you can use the Add and Remove buttons to move the range of fields; however, the Up and Down buttons do not work with multiple fields.

The Show for all users check box can be used to specify whether the column layout will be displayed for every user, or if it will be displayed only for the current user. Clear the Show for all users check box of an existing column layout to change the item from being viewable by all users, to viewable only by you, regardless of who created the item originally.

Note: Two column layouts with the same name may exist if one has the Show for all users check box selected and the other does not.

Note: Users must have rights assigned in order to select or clear the Show for all users check box. These rights are assigned in System Configuration (File | Open | Access Profile | Tabs3 | Utilities/View | Manage Quick Clicks Items for All Users).

The Add >> button can be used to move the highlighted field in the Available Fields list to the Field Order list.

The << Remove button can be used to remove the highlighted field in the Field Order list and place it back in the Available Fields list.

The Up button can be used in the Field Order list to move the highlighted item up one position.

The Down button can be used in the Field Order list to move the highlighted item down one position.
