This program allows you to add, change, or delete the Phase/Task codes, Activity codes, and Expense codes used for task based billing. When adding fee transactions for task based billing clients, you must indicate a Phase/Task code and Activity code for each transaction. Similarly, when adding cost transactions for task based billing clients, you must indicate a Phase/Task code and Expense code for each transaction. The specific Phase/Task codes, Activity codes, and Expense codes that are to be used are typically provided by the client requiring task based billing. If your firm will not be performing task based billing, you do not need to set up any Phase/Task codes, Activity codes, and Expense codes.
