When the current matter is configured for both Task Based Billing and Progress Billing, an Enter Progress Fee Tcode link is displayed next to the Activity field when entering a new fee transaction.

Note: This option is used by firms who submit shadow bills to State Farm electronically using Tabs3 Taskbill, which requires the entry of progress fee tcodes. Use of progress billing is not supported by other Taskbill formats. See Knowledge Base Article R11853, “Exporting Statements for State Farm Shadow Billing Using Tabs3 Taskbill,” for more information regarding this process.

Click the Enter Progress Fee Tcode link to hide the Phase/Task and Activity fields and display the Tcode field. When the Tcode field is displayed, enter a Type 6 tcode or click the button to open the Tcode Lookup window and select a Type 6 tcode.

Click the Enter Task Code link to hide the Tcode field and display the Phase/Task and Activity fields.
