| Tcode (Transaction Code) |
Maximum of 3 digits (1-999) or 3 characters. The Type of the client funds transaction dictates which transaction code types are available.
| Withdrawals & Deposits | All tcode types are available for withdrawals or deposits. When entering a withdrawal or deposit, the tcode is used only for the description of the transaction. Separate default tcodes are saved for withdrawals and deposits in each workstation's STI.INI file. |
| Payments to Firm | Only payment tcode types (i.e., type 1-regular payment, type 2-fee payment, and type 3-cost payment) are allowed for payments to firm. When entering a manual payment to firm, the tcode is used for the description of the client funds transaction AND the archived payment transaction. |
Note: The tcode specified here does not control how the payment is applied. The payment is applied according to the Fund Application specified for the transaction. For example, if you specify a fee payment tcode for this field but specify "Apply to All" for the Fund Application, the payment will apply to all work-in-process--not just the fee work-in-process.
The default tcode for manual payments to firm is saved in each workstation's STI.INI file.
The transaction code's alpha code and type will be displayed after the transaction code is entered and the associated description will be displayed in the Description field.
