The Print Reference Numbers option is only available when running draft statements or pre-bills.

Select this check box if you want the transaction reference numbers to print on the statements. Transaction reference numbers are used for retrieving the transaction when editing.

Clear this check box if you do not want the reference numbers to print on the statement.

Note: Reference numbers do not print for fees if the Paragraph format on the statement template is set to Date, Date/Timekeeper or Total (i.e., the Paragraph format must be No Paragraph if you want the reference numbers to print).

Note: Reference numbers may not be shown in the Preview Window if the printer is configured for Automatic Statement Width.

Note: If the reference numbers do not print, check whether the selected printer is configured for Automatic or Fixed Statement Width. If an Automatic Statement Width is specified, try changing the Statement Width to Fixed. Or, try increasing the right margin of the printer. For example, if a 0.250 inch right margin is specified, try increasing it by 0.750 inch to 1.000 inch. If a Fixed Statement Width is specified, try reducing the number of characters specified, reducing the font size specified or increasing the right margin.
