| Background Preview |
The Background Preview option on the Statement Designer right-click menu works together with the Background Overlay menu option to control the appearance of background elements, if any, in the Page Layout pane of the Statement Designer window. This option does not affect whether background elements are included when printing statements using the current page layout.
When this option is turned on, a check mark appears to the left of the Background Preview option on the right-click menu. Background elements, if any, will appear just as they will look when printing statements This is especially useful when multiple background pages are being used and elements from two different background pages intersect.
When this option is turned off, no check mark appears to the left of the Background Preview option on the right-click menu. If the Background Overlay option is turned on, background elements, if any, will appear in dim gray. If the Background Overlay option is turned off, background elements, if any, will not appear in the Page Layout pane at all, but will still be included when printing statements using the current page layout.
Note: Because background elements cannot be edited in the current page layout, selecting the Background Preview menu option may cause some confusion since background elements will appear the same as elements that are part of the current page layout.
