To rename a page layout in the Statement Designer:

  1. In the Layout Tree, right-click the page layout or envelope layout to be renamed, and select Rename Layout.
  2. In the Rename Layout dialog box, enter a new name for the page layout, typing over the old name.
  3. Click OK.

Note: When you rename a page layout that has been assigned to a statement template, the page layout is not automatically renamed on the Layouts tab of Statement Templates. After renaming the page layout in the Statement Designer window, you must assign it to the desired statement templates again. Otherwise, when statements are printed using a statement template that has an invalid page layout name assigned, no page layout is used for the part of the statement that has the renamed page layout assigned.
