The Report Suite Manager is used to create, edit, delete and run report suites.
The Report Suite Manager includes two lists. The upper list shows which report definitions compose the current report suite. The lower list shows all of the available report definitions that can be included in the report suite. The Show Other Users' Reports check box can be used to include all report definitions instead of just the report definitions created with your User ID. As report definitions are added to the report suite in the upper list, they are removed from the lower list because they are no longer available. Each report suite can consist of up to 99 report definitions. To see more information in the lists, you can resize the window to make it wider. Column widths in the lists can also be resized by moving the mouse pointer between column headings and then clicking and dragging the right side of the column to the desired size. The available report definitions in the lower list are sorted by report type. Multiple report definitions for the same report type are further sorted by User ID and then in alphabetical order by report definition name.
When the Report Suite Manager is opened, the upper list is blank. If desired, you can begin adding report definitions to create a new report suite.
The Move Up button can be used to rearrange the order of the report definitions in the report suite shown in the upper list. To move a report definition up, highlight the report definition you want moved and click the Move Up button.
The Move Dn button can be used to rearrange the order of the report definitions in the report suite shown in the upper list. To move a report definition down, highlight the report definition you want moved and click the Move Dn button.
The Add button can be used to add the highlighted report definition in the lower list of available reports to the list of report definitions in the report suite (upper list). When a report definition is added to the report suite, it is removed from the list of available report definitions (lower list) and shown in the list of report definitions in the report suite. (Tip: Double-clicking a report definition in the lower list also adds it to the list of report definitions in the report suite.)
The Remove button can be used to remove the highlighted report definition from the upper list of report definitions in the report suite. When a report definition is removed from the report suite, it is shown in the lower list of available report definitions. (Tip: Double-clicking a report definition in the upper list also removes the report definition from the list of report definitions in the suite and places it back in the list of available report definitions.)
The Rebuild button can be used to rebuild the table of contents file that stores the report suite and report definition information.
