The label "Def" is an abbreviation for "Default." This column indicates which statement template has been defined as the default template for draft statements and which statement template has been defined as the default template for final statements. The default statement template for draft statements will have a "D" (Draft) in the "Def" column and the default statement template for final statements will have an "F" (Final) in the "Def" column. (Note: The same statement template can be defined as the default for both draft and final statements.)

The default statement template is designated by selecting the Use as Draft Statement Default for New Clients or Use as Final Statement Default for New Clients check box in the Statement Templates window.
