This check box determines which statement template will be used as the default Draft Template for new clients. Only one statement template can be designated as the default template for draft statements. Selecting another statement template as the default will automatically deselect the previously selected statement template.

Select this check box if you want the statement template to be used as the default statement template for draft statements when new clients are added. When this check box is selected, the statement template will be designated as the default draft statement template and is indicated as such in the statement template lookup window.

Clear this check box if the statement template will not be used as the default template for draft statements.

Note: When adding a subsequent matter for a client that already exists, the default draft statement template will be the same draft statement template used for the client's highest numbered matter (provided you are using a Numeric or Mixed Key Type).

Note: The "Client" terminology can be changed in Customization. This terminology is used on all menus, windows, and reports. However, the label "Client" is used in all documentation.
