The left and right guidelines in the Statement Designer appear as dashed vertical lines on the page layout, and can be used to show you where the left and right edges of the statement body will be when printing statements. However, the left and right guidelines do NOT control the edges of the statement body. The edges of the statement body are controlled by the left and right margins specified in Page Setup for the statement printer. For this reason, it is recommended that the guidelines be configured to match the left and right margins specified in Page Setup. The positions of the guidelines are controlled using the Left Guideline and Right Guideline fields in the Page Layout Properties dialog box. You can control whether the guidelines are displayed or hidden by right-clicking in the Page Layout pane of the Statement Designer and selecting Display | Guidelines.
