The Left Guideline field lets you control the placement of the left guideline on the current page layout. Enter the distance from the left edge of the page layout that you want the left guideline to appear, in thousandths of an inch. For example, if you enter 1.000, the left guideline will appear one inch from the left edge of the page layout.

Note: The Left Guideline field controls only the left guideline, and NOT the left margin of the page layout. When printing statements, the left guideline is ignored. Instead, the left margin specified in the statement printer's Page Setup will control the left edge of the body section. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that the value entered in the Left Guideline field match the left margin specified in Page Setup for the statement printer.
