The Display | Guidelines menu option on the Statement Designer right-click menu lets you control whether or not left and right guidelines are displayed on the Page Layout pane of Statement Designer window.

When this option is turned on, a check mark appears to the left of the Guidelines menu option, and the left and right guidelines are displayed on the page layout.

When this option is turned off, no check mark is displayed next to the Guidelines menu option, and the left and right guidelines are not displayed on the page layout.
