Maximum of 8 characters. Select the appropriate statement template to be used for the client when draft statements are run. Each client is assigned both a draft statement template and a final statement template. Statement templates are defined using the Statement Templates program. The default draft statement template for new clients is assigned in the Statement Templates program. However, the default draft statement template for new files is taken from the client's highest numbered file (provided you are using a Numeric or Mixed Key Type).

The button can be used to open the Statement Template Lookup window that allows you to view a list of statement templates and select any statement template by double-clicking it.

Right-clicking this field displays a shortcut menu that allows easy access to the Statement Templates program for adding or editing purposes.
