| Copy |
The Copy option on the right-click menu in the Statement Designer functions the same way as the standard Windows copy command (Ctrl+C). Selecting this menu option or pressing Ctrl+C causes the current element or elements to be copied to the Clipboard, though they remain on the page layout as well. Copied elements remain in the Clipboard until they are replaced by other data. As long as they remain in the Clipboard, elements that have been copied can be inserted into the current page layout by using the Paste right-click menu option.
For example, suppose you want to make an exact duplicate of an element. You could select the element, right-click and select the Copy menu option (or press Ctrl+C), and then use the Paste menu option to insert a duplicate of the selected element into the current page layout.
