Statement Designer layout groups can be imported from Statement Designer export files, which are created using the Export Layout Group menu option on the right-click menu in the Statement Designer. Each export file consists of a single Statement Designer layout group and all associated page layouts. This makes it possible to quickly and easily access custom page layouts created by other Tabs3 users. For example, your authorized Tabs3 consultant might create one or more custom page layouts and make them available to you on a flash drive, via email, or via download from a website on the internet.

   To import a layout group:

  1. In the Layout Tree, right-click Statement Designer Layouts and select the Import Layout Group menu option.
  2. In the Open dialog box, browse to the Statement Designer export file to be imported, and double-click it.
  3. In the Import Layout Group dialog box, enter a name for the layout group you are importing. By default, the name in this dialog box is the name of the layout group that was exported.
  4. Click OK.

Tip: Statement Designer export files have a file extension of *.XPC.

Tip: To make a copy of a layout group, simply export it and then import it with a different name.
