The Tabs3 Billing Client Lookup and Contact Lookup windows include an optional SnapShot panel that displays data from individual client or contact records in an easy to view format. The panel in which the SnapShots are shown is based on a browser window. The size and position of SnapShot panels are stored separately for each User ID for each file. The Client Lookup and Contact Lookup windows can be resized or maximized to allow more room for the SnapShot panel. You can resize the contents of the SnapShot panel using the zoom feature.

SnapShot panels can be positioned below the lookup list or to the right of it. Buttons to control position are located in the bar dividing the lookup window from the SnapShot panel. When the SnapShot is positioned below the lookup, the (Close SnapShot ) button closes the SnapShot panel and displays a (Restore SnapShot) button to display it again, and the (Move SnapShot to Right) button positions the SnapShot panel to the right of the lookup window. When the SnapShot is positioned to the right of the lookup, the (Move SnapShot to Bottom) button positions the SnapShot panel to the bottom of the lookup window, and the (Close SnapShot ) button closes the SnapShot panel and displays a (Restore SnapShot) button to display it again.

The actual data shown in the SnapShot is view only and cannot be edited via the SnapShot. Hyperlinks are provided on email, phone, and Web page fields. These fields can start a email in your default email application, open the Phone Dialer window, or open your default web browser.

Note: SnapShot information will not be shown for users who do not have access rights to the file. SnapShot information for secure clients will only be shown for users who have access rights to the secure client.
