The Request Trust Deposit window allows you to send an email message to a client requesting a deposit to their trust account. If using Tabs3 Pay®, you can include a Payment Link to an online payment portal, which will be deposited into their Trust account. Once the client has made an electronic payment, the deposit can be imported into Tabs3 Trust Accounting using the Import Online Payments window in Tabs3 Billing.

Note: To send a Request Trust Deposit email, Tabs3 Trust Accounting must be installed and configured to integrate with Tabs3 Billing, and a Trust account must exist for the current matter.

Tabs3 Pay Note: To include a Trust Request Link in the email, a Tabs3 Pay merchant account must be configured for Tabs3 Billing and Trust, and the Enable Tabs3 Pay Payment Links option must be enabled in Tabs3 Billing Customization.

The Compose Email button opens the Email Preview window to review and edit the email that will be sent to the client. This button is only available when initially sending a trust request.

The Resend button opens the Email Preview window to review and edit the email that will be sent to the client. This button is only available for sent trust requests. Resending the email will create a new entry in the Trust Requests list with the current system date.

The Cancel button closes the Request Trust Deposit window without sending an email.
