The Work-in-Process widget of the Tabs3 Billing Dashboard shows a graph of work in process.

The graph portion includes a bar graph for each of the aging periods defined on the Options tab in Tabs3 Customization. If All is selected, all billable WIP is included regardless of transaction type. If Fees is selected, only fee WIP totals are included. If Costs is selected, only expense and advance WIP totals are included.

Note: The WIP totals do not include non-billable transactions or sales tax. Fees and costs on hold are included.

Hovering over any of the bars displays a popup with a breakdown of Fee, Expense, and Advance WIP for that period. If progress fees (transactions with a Type 6 tcode) are included, a Progress WIP amount is also shown. In the Platinum edition, clicking a bar or total will drill down to a Work-in-Process window with additional information.

The top of the widget shows the total amount of all work in process. Hovering over this total displays a popup with detailed breakdown of Fee, Expense, Advance, and (if included) Progress WIP.

The color of the bar indicates its age, ranging from dark for the most recent aging period, to light for the oldest aging period.

Note: The work-in-process amounts shown here include all clients, unless a Dashboard Filter is applied (Platinum only).
