The Hide Fields check box is only available when using the Detail mode. This check box simplifies the Detail entry mode by allowing you to hide or display the following fields that typically are not changed from their default values:

Category

User ID

Bill Code

Date Entered

Rate Code

Status

Sales Tax

Note: The Detail mode with the Hide Fields check box selected differs from the Rapid mode in that sensitive fields (i.e., Hours to Bill, Rate, and Amount) are not shown in Rapid mode.

Select the Hide Fields check box to hide the above fields in the Fee data entry window.

Clear the Hide Fields check box to display the above fields in the Fee data entry window. Once cleared, the height of the Description field will be shortened and these fields will be displayed below the Description field.
