The Contacts list window includes special column layouts for contact information.

(default) Column Layout

The “(default)” column layout includes columns for all fields.

Standard Column Layout

The following columns are included with the “Standard” column layout:

Contact ID This column displays the Contact ID for the contact.
Organization This column displays the Organization for the contact, if one is specified.
Full Name This column displays the Full Name of the contact.
Business Phone This column displays the phone number in the Business field assigned to the contact.
Email Address 1 This column displays the address in the Email 1 field assigned to the contact.

Additional Columns

The following additional columns can optionally be included in Contacts column layouts:

Update Full Name This column displays “Y” if the Update Full Name based on First, Middle, and Last Name fields check box is selected, or “N” if the Update Full Name based on First, Middle, and Last Name fields check box is cleared.
First Name This column displays the First Name for the contact.
Middle Name This column displays the Middle Name for the contact.
Last Name This column displays the Last Name for the contact.
Initials This column displays the Initials for the contact.
Organization Sw This column displays “Y” if Organization is selected in the Individual/Organization selector for the contact, or “N” if Individual is selected.
Inactive This column displays “Y” if the Inactive check box is selected for the contact, or “N” if the check box is cleared.
Default Address No This column displays “1” if the Default Address check box is selected for the Business address of the contact, “2” if the default is the Home address, and “3” if the default is the Other address.
Bus Addr 1 This column displays the Address Line 1 field associated with the Business address of the contact.
Bus Addr 2 This column displays the Address Line 2 field associated with the Business address of the contact.
Bus Addr 3 This column displays the Address Line 3 field associated with the Business address of the contact.
Bus City This column displays the City field associated with the Business address of the contact.
Bus State This column displays the State field associated with the Business address of the contact.
Bus Zip This column displays the Zip Code field associated with the Business address of the contact.
Bus Country This column displays the Country field associated with the Business address of the contact.
Home Addr 1 This column displays the Address Line 1 field associated with the Home address of the contact.
Home Addr 2 This column displays the Address Line 2 field associated with the Home address of the contact.
Home Addr 3 This column displays the Address Line 3 field associated with the Home address of the contact.
Home City This column displays the City field associated with the Home address of the contact.
Home State This column displays the State field associated with the Home address of the contact.
Home Zip This column displays the Zip Code field associated with the Home address of the contact.
Home Country This column displays the Country field associated with the Home address of the contact.
Other Addr 1 This column displays the Address Line 1 field associated with the Other address of the contact.

Callback This column displays the phone number in the Callback field assigned to the contact.
Car Phone This column displays the phone number in the Car field assigned to the contact.
Company Phone This column displays the phone number in the Company field assigned to the contact.
Home Phone This column displays the phone number in the Home field assigned to the contact.
Home Phone 2 This column displays the phone number in the Home 2 field assigned to the contact.
Home Fax This column displays the phone number in the Home Fax field assigned to the contact.
ISDN This column displays the phone number in the ISDN field assigned to the contact.
Mobile Phone This column displays the phone number in the Mobile field assigned to the contact.
Other Phone This column displays the phone number in the Other field assigned to the contact.
Other Fax This column displays the phone number in the Other Fax field assigned to the contact.
Pager This column displays the phone number in the Pager field assigned to the contact.
Primary Phone This column displays the phone number in the Primary field assigned to the contact.
Radio Phone This column displays the phone number in the Radio field assigned to the contact.
Telex This column displays the phone number in the Telex field assigned to the contact.
TTY/TDD Phone This column displays the phone number in the TTY/TDD field assigned to the contact.
Email Address 2 This column displays the address in the Email 2 field assigned to the contact.
Email Address 3 This column displays the address in the Email 3 field assigned to the contact.
Address 1 This column displays the Address Line 1 field associated with the default address of the contact.
Address 2 This column displays the Address Line 2 field associated with the default address of the contact.
Address 3 This column displays the Address Line 3 field associated with the default address of the contact.
City This column displays the City field associated with the default address of the contact.
State This column displays the State field associated with the default address of the contact.
Zip This column displays the Zip Code field associated with the default address of the contact.
Country This column displays the Country field associated with the default address of the contact.
Phone 1 This column displays the phone number assigned to the contact in the top-left position.
Phone 2 This column displays the phone number assigned to the contact in the bottom-left position.
Phone 3 This column displays the phone number assigned to the contact in the top-right position.
Phone 4 This column displays the phone number assigned to the contact in the bottom-right position.
Web Page This column displays the Web Page of the contact.
Comments This column displays the Comments of the contact.
Is Client Sw This column displays “Y” if the contact is used as the Client Name or Matter Name for a Client in Tabs3 Billing or PracticeMaster, or a Trust Account in Tabs3 Trust Accounting, or “N” if the contact is not used as a Client.
Is Vendor Sw This column displays “Y” if the contact is used as the Name for a Vendor in Tabs3 Accounts Payable, or “N” if the contact is not used as a Vendor.
Is Payee Sw This column displays “Y” if the contact is used as the Payee Name for a Payee in Tabs3 Trust Accounting, or “N” if the contact is not used as a Payee.
Is User Sw This column displays “Y” if the contact is used as the User Name for a User in System Configuration, or “N” if the contact is not used as a User.
Client Portal Email This column displays the email address assigned to the contact for accessing the Client Portal for any matter.
Client Portal Status

This column displays “Enabled” if the contact is configured to access the Client Portal for any matter, or “N” if the contact is not configured to access the Client Portal.

Note: The Client Portal Email and Client Portal Status columns are only displayed if the Client Portal is enabled.
