Beginning Note & Ending Note

 

Maximum of 8 characters. Select the appropriate predefined statement note you want printed on the statement for clients who are assigned this statement template. Statement notes are defined using the Statement Notes program.

The Beginning Note will print on the statement below the client's work description and miscellaneous lines and the client's unique beginning statement notes that are optionally defined in the Client file. The Ending Note will print on the statement below the client's unique ending statement notes but above the global ending statement message defined in Statement Customization. Click here to see an example of where the statement notes print.

When specified, the Beginning and Ending Note fields will be printed on the statement. Additionally, you can configure the notes to also:

• print on the cover statement; and/or
• print for each matter on combined statements.
   

The button can be used to open the Statement Notes Lookup window that allows you to view a list of statement notes and select the desired note by double-clicking it.

Right-clicking this field displays a shortcut menu that allows easy access to the Statement Notes program for adding or editing purposes.

If you are editing an existing statement template that uses statement notes and you want to remove the statement notes from the template, simply blank out the Beginning and Ending Note fields.
