| Statement Designer Page Margins |
When creating page layouts in the Statement Designer, elements can be placed anywhere on the page. Unless they are placed beyond the printer's minimum margins, elements will print regardless of where they are placed on the page (i.e., there are no page margins). However, the left and right margins specified in Page Setup for the statement printer do control the left and right edges of the statement body section of the page layout. For this reason, it is recommended that you configure the left and right guidelines in the Statement Designer to match the left and right margins in the Page Setup.
When printing statements using page layouts, the top and bottom margins specified in Page Setup have no effect. However, the top and bottom edges of the statement body can be controlled using the Header Height and Footer Height fields in the Page Layout Properties dialog box.
Note: Any portion of an element that extends beyond the printer's minimum margins (i.e., the minimum distance from the edge of the page at which the printer can begin printing) will be excluded from the statement (i.e., cut off).
