The Phone Numbers section displays the phone number that will be dialed if you select the Use Windows Phone Dialer to dial phone option. Select the phone number you want to use.

Phone Selector

The Phone Selector option contains a drop-down menu that includes the nineteen (19) phone numbers that can be defined in the Contact file. Once a phone number has been selected, the contents of that field will be displayed. Phone extensions are displayed but are not dialed.

If the Phone Dialer is opened from a secure client record, the four default phone numbers will be shown in the drop-down list.
Other Number Select the Other Number field to enter the phone number you want dialed. This field allows you to enter a phone number that is not defined for the selected contact.

 

The default phone number is based on how the Phone Dialer is opened. If opened via the File menu, where you are asked to select a contact, the contact's first assigned phone number will be selected. If opened via the button in a file, the phone number displayed next to the button you selected will be displayed in the phone selector.

Note: The selected phone number will not be dialed unless the Use Windows Phone Dialer to dial phone check box is selected before you click OK.
