Let's say you cannot remember the client's exact last name but you remember it ended in "ington". Using the Client Lookup window, you could filter the clients listed so that only the clients with "ington" in the Name or Work Description fields are shown. To do this, click the Filter button and enter "ington" into the Filter Text field. The clients will be filtered automatically.

As another example, let's say a client's Work Description consists of:

Let's say you want to enter a transaction but cannot remember the client's name or number. Using the Client Lookup window, you could filter the clients listed so that only the clients with "Kramer" or "Tobacco" or "97C" (as examples) in the Work Description or Name fields are shown. To do this, click the Filter button and enter the desired text into the Filter Text field. The clients will be filtered automatically.
