When integrating with GLS, this window is displayed when adjusting or reversing a payment, when writing unbilled cost transactions up or down, when changing a cost or payment entry, or when changing a client funds transaction with associated GLS journal entries. The original payment and cost transactions are reversed and new GLS journal entries are created. You have the ability to specify the date you want used for the reversing journal entries.

Original Journal Entry Date Select this option if you want the reversing journal entries to use the same date as the original journal entries. The date used for the reversing journal entries determines the GLS period to which the adjusting journal entries will be posted.
Other Date Select this option if you want to use a date other than the dates of the original journal entries. If selecting this option, you will be allowed to specify the date you want used.

Note: If the Original Journal Entry Date or Other Date is outside of the GLS Date Restrictions, a message will be displayed. The message displayed depends on your access rights and the defined restrictions.

Click OK to proceed with creation of the GLS journal entries.

Click Cancel to cancel the entire process altogether. If you are using the Payment Adjustment program, the payment will not be adjusted and no GLS journal entries will be created. If you are using the Write-Up/Write-Down program, the write-up/write-down will not be performed and no GLS journal entries will be created.
