The "<" and ">" keys can be used to increase or decrease the unit by one at a time.

If a rate is displayed or specified in the Rate field, the number of units that you enter will be multiplied by the rate giving you the amount to be billed. This feature acts like a built-in calculator for making cost entries for photocopying, mileage, word processing charges, per diems, etc.

Note: The Units field is not available when a Rate Code of 8 is used.
