| One Time Retainer |
The One Time Retainer feature is used to bill a client for a retainer and continue billing until the retainer is completely paid. When the One Time Retainer check box is selected, the Minimum Balance field is changed to the Retainer Amount and the Target Balance field is changed to the Amount to Bill.
You can bill a client to replenish the client funds account or you can set up the client funds to bill a "One Time Retainer." The One Time Retainer check box is used to repeatedly bill the client until the Amount to Bill becomes 0.00 or the One Time Retainer check box is cleared.
Enter the full retainer amount in the Retainer Amount and Amount to Bill fields. Whenever a statement is printed for the client, line 64 from Statement Customization will print at the end of the Client Funds section asking the client to remit the amount shown in the Amount to Bill field.
Whenever a deposit is made to client funds for a One Time Retainer client, the Amount to Bill will be correspondingly reduced by the deposit amount. Once the full retainer amount has been paid, the Amount to Bill will have been reduced to 0.00 and the client will not be billed for additional client funds.
