Maximum of 99,999,999.99. Enter the number of hours to bill budgeted for the client. This field can be used for setting a limit or targeting the number of hours to be billed for the client. It is not a required field and may be left at zero if not used.

A popup calculator is available when editing this field. The "<" and ">" keys can be used to increase or decrease the hours by one at a time.

When a client's Warn if Budget Exceeded check box is selected, if the Budget Hours to bill field is greater than 0, a warning will be displayed whenever a fee transaction is entered that causes the total WIP hours to bill + Billed hours for the client to exceed the Budget Hours to Bill. The warning is displayed as soon as the number of Hours is specified but before the transaction is saved. However, Tabs3 does not prevent you from saving the transaction.
