| New Decimal Places |
Maximum of one digit (0-9). The Decimal Places determines the number of characters allowed to the right of the decimal in the Client ID.
A value of 0 Decimal Places cannot be used with a Key Type of Mixed.
This option is not available when changing to a Key Type of Alpha.
Note: Tabs3 will not allow certain renumbering situations to occur due to the possibility of duplicate or inaccessible Client IDs. For example, if you attempt to change the Decimal Places from 3 to 2 and select to remove digits from the beginning of the decimal digits, Tabs3 checks to make sure that the single digit being removed is equal for all clients. For example, if the single digit being removed for all clients is "0," then Tabs3 will perform the renumbering. However, if any client has a different value for that digit, a warning will be displayed and you will not be allowed to renumber using the specified parameters. In certain situations such as these, it may be possible to renumber the clients that are different before attempting to change the Key Type.
