| Percentages | Select this check box if you want percentages included for all items selected in the Include Worked Information section. Details regarding how the various percentages are calculated can be found in the Sample Report Pack. |
| Percentage Formula | Select this check box if you want the formulas that are used to calculate the percentages to print in gray text for each percentage. |
| Compare to Recommended Hours |
This option will only be available if the above Percentages check box in the Include Worked Information section is selected. Select this check box if you want to compare each timekeeper's Total Hours to a recommended monthly amount. If you select this check box, you will be allowed to enter the Recommended Hours per Month. |
Example: Let's assume you select the Compare to Recommended Hours check box and enter 160 in the Recommended Hours Per Month text box. If timekeeper #1 worked 150 hours in a given month and timekeeper #2 worked 130 hours in the same month, the percentage figure following the Total Hours on the Timekeeper Productivity Report would be 93.8% (150 divided by 160) for timekeeper #1 and 81.3% (130 divided by 160) for timekeeper #2.
| Clear this check box if you want the comparison between billable and non-billable hours to be made as a percentage of each timekeeper's total hours rather than a recommended figure. |
Example: Let's assume you clear the Compare to Recommended Hours check box and you print the Timekeeper Productivity Report for timekeepers #1 and #2. If timekeeper #1 worked 150 hours in a month and timekeeper #2 worked 130 hours in a month, the percentage figure following the Total Hours on the Timekeeper Productivity Report would be 53.6% [150 divided by (150 + 130)] for timekeeper #1 and 46.4% [130 divided by (150 + 130)] for timekeeper #2.
Note: The Totals check box must be selected for the Recommended Hours comparison percentage to be shown on the report. Because there will be multiple percentages on this report, we recommend also selecting the Percentage Formula check box.
| Recommended Hours per Month |
This option will only be available if the Compare to Recommended Hours check box is selected. Maximum of 999.99. Enter the number of recommended hours per month. The system's default number of working hours per month is 173.33. To compute the recommended year-to-date hours, the report will multiply the hours that you enter by the number of months since the last time the year-to-date totals were cleared. |
Tip: If desired, you can change the default number of working hours by defining a report definition and making that report definition the default report definition.
Note: The default figure (173.33) is determined by taking the number of weeks in a year (52) times the number of working days per week (5) times the number of working hours per day (8) divided by the number of months per year (12).
| The "<" and ">" keys can be used to increase or decrease the number by one hour at a time. |
