The Multiline field controls whether the current element will span multiple lines. Click the drop-down button and select Yes if you want the contents of the current element to be able to span multiple lines. Select No if you want to restrict the contents of the element to only one line. If the field has more than one line of data, additional lines will be excluded from printing.

Note: If this field is set to Yes by default for an element (i.e., when you add the element to a page layout), it is recommended that you do not change the setting. If you select No, important data may be excluded when printing statements using the current page layout.

Note: Selecting Yes in this field will not cause the data from a field that consists of only one line of information to span multiple lines. Only the Client Notes, Work Description, Miscellaneous 1, Miscellaneous 2, and Miscellaneous 3 fields in the Client file support multiline wrapping.
