The Line Slant field lets you control the orientation of the currently selected line on the page layout. Click the drop-down button next to this field and select the desired orientation. Lines can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, and the direction of the slope can be controlled for diagonal lines.

This field matches the functionality of the control on the Attribute Bar.
