A line element is a type of element available in the Statement Designer. Line elements can be resized to any width and height, and can be oriented vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Lines have many possible uses. For example, you might use a line to separate the statement heading from the body of the statement. As another example, a line can be used to separate one column from another.
