After the payment record has been selected, the following information will be displayed. It is information taken directly from the ledger payment record. All of the fields shown are "read-only" and cannot be edited.

Payment Date The Payment Date field indicates the date of the original payment transaction (not the statement date when it was processed).
Receipt Type

This field indicates the Receipt Type selected when the payment was added (Cash, Check, Credit Card, Client Funds, EFT, or Other).

If the Receipt Type is Credit Card a Credit Card Transaction Information button will be available next to the Receipt Type field. Clicking the button opens the Credit Card Transaction window if Tabs3 Billing processed the credit card payment.

Note: When reversing or refunding a credit card payment that was processed through Tabs3 Pay®, LawPay®, or LexCharge®, you will have the option to adjust the original credit card payment.

Payment Amount The Payment Amount field indicates the full amount of the payment. Any previous payment adjustments are not included in this figure.
Statement # This number indicates the statement number of the statement that the payment was processed on.
Apply to Statement # A number other than "0" in this field indicates that when the payment was added, the user specified a statement number for the payment to be applied to first.
Unapplied Amount The Unapplied Amount field indicates the portion of the payment amount that has not been applied to any statement. This represents the maximum amount that can be refunded using the Payment Adjustment program.
