| QuickBooks Integration |
Note: The following information is only applicable if integrating with QuickBooks using the QBXML format.
Tabs3 Billing can create Bills in QuickBooks for costs that are merged if the two systems are integrated.
In order for remote transactions to be merged into QuickBooks, the Integrate with QuickBooks option must be selected in the Transaction Code file for the specified transaction code.
For cost transactions, the QuickBooks Vendor field is entered in Tabs3 Billing Remote. If no QuickBooks Vendor is specified, the default STI-Vendor will be used. The QuickBooks debit account is determined by the QuickBooks Debit Acct field for that Tcode. If there is not a default QuickBooks Debit Account, then STI-Expense will be used for the debit account. The QuickBooks Credit account will be the Accounts Payable account.
Note: QuickBooks must be open when the Merge Tabs3 Remote data utility is run, or transactions will not be merged into QuickBooks. The following error will be generated in the Tabs3 Merge Remote Error Report: This application is not allowed to log into this QuickBooks company data file automatically. The QuickBooks administrator can grant permission for automatic login through the Integrated Application preferences.
