The Status field is used to determine the reconciliation status of a journal entry in the GLS Integration window and is represented with a column heading of 'R' in the table of journal entries. The following options are available:
| (blank) | An empty field indicates the journal entry is outstanding and has not yet been cleared or reconciled using the Reconciliation program. |
| R | Indicates the journal entry has been reconciled using the Reconciliation program. |
| C | Indicates the journal entry has been cleared in the Reconciliation program. Each journal entry or deposit with a check mark in the "Clr" (Cleared) column in the Reconciliation window is considered Cleared. The Cleared status is changed to Reconciled when the reconciliation is finalized. The Cleared status can be removed from a journal entry or deposit by clearing the check mark from the "Clr" column in the Reconciliation window or by canceling the Reconciliation. |
The Status field cannot be changed via Tabs3.
New journal entries default to an Outstanding status. The status will be automatically updated once the entry is Cleared or Reconciled via the Reconciliation program in GLS.
