Maximum of 12 characters. The Reference field is user defined and is optional. The default Reference is the Tabs3 Client ID. This field prints on the GLS Journal Entry Verification List, Journals and the General Ledger. Journals can be sorted based on the Reference field. The Reference field can be alphanumeric or numeric.
