Date Function Returns a Numeric Value
Returns the current system date in mm/dd/yyyy format.

Function Use

This function can be used when filtering records or formatting how dates are displayed or returned.

Filtering Examples

The following examples are ways in which you can use this function to filter records.

You want to see all Statements that are dated this week.

((DATE >= (TODAY() - DOW() + 1)) AND (DATE <= (TODAY() - DOW() + 5)))

Formatting Examples

TODAY( )

Returns 06/16/2026 if the current system date is 06/16/2026.
