Total Expenses is used to label the subtotal for expenses. The date codes "\S", "\B" and "\E" can be used anywhere in the text to print the respective date specified (i.e., "\S" = Statement Date, "\B" = Beginning Cost Date and "\E" = Ending Cost Date). The format "MM/DD/YYYY" is used for the date codes. You can increment or decrement the date by adding the number of days you want to increment after the date code, or adding a minus sign (-) and the number of days you want to decrement after the date code. For example, "\S30" would increment the date by 30 days and "\S-30" would decrement the date by 30 days. The "\#" code can be used anywhere in the text to print the Client ID. The code "\%" can be used anywhere in the text to print the courtesy discount percentage. Maximum of 60 characters.
If the Total Advances line (i.e., Line 28) only contains an "*" in the first character position, then both expenses and advances will be combined on the statement and this label will be used on the statement for the combined items. Furthermore, expense credits and advance credits will also be combined as a separate line item. The label used on the statement for the combined expense credits and advance credits is the text in the Total Credits for Expenses line (Line 30).
Note: If you use the "\E" date code on this line
and you also use the Summary or Tcode Subtotal Only Expense Format for clients, you may
want to blank out the "thru" line (Line
29). Otherwise, the Ending Cost Date will print twice.
If this line includes the "\B" or "\E" date code and no beginning cost date or
ending cost date is specified when statements are run, nothing will be printed for the date.
